Crackdown on importers for misuse of tax exemption on import of tea for Azad Kashmir.
Spokesman of Customs says that Customs officers raided the warehouse and seized 850 tons of tea price Rs 73 crore.
He stated that within the mild of the Customs Intelligence report, the Azad Kashmir authorities fashioned the JIT. In line with the JIT report, taxes of Rs 255 crore have been evaded within the imports made previously.
The spokesman stated that the Customs officers have registered an FIR in opposition to the folks concerned within the incident, the motion will assist in the restoration of the stolen cash of Rs 255 crore.
