It has been revealed that consuming water is unsafe for parliamentarians as nicely, consuming water in parliament home and lodges has been declared dangerous to well being.
Pakistan Council for Analysis on Water Sources (PCRWR) despatched a letter to the Nationwide Meeting Secretariat.
The doc said that in line with the quarterly water testing report, the water of Parliament Home, lodges was discovered to be contaminated, water samples taken from water coolers, overhead tanks and faucets have been discovered to be unsafe.
The report said that the water within the tanks of three blocks within the Parliament Lodges will not be usable, solely the water of the principle filtration plant within the Parliament Lodges was discovered to be protected.
PCRWR collected water samples from 6 places together with Deputy Speaker’s room of Parliament Home, PCRWR collected water samples from four places of Parliament Lodges.
In keeping with the report, out of 10 samples, one pattern was discovered to be potable whereas 9 samples have been discovered to be contaminated.
