Nepra to listen to CPPA electrical energy worth hike request tomorrow


On the problem of accelerating the value of electrical energy by Rs 4 66 paise per unit because of gasoline adjustment, Nepra will hear the CPPA’s request to extend the value of electrical energy tomorrow.

Nepra says that the Central Energy Buying Company has requested to extend the value of electrical energy. Based on Nepra, the request has been made for November gasoline worth adjustment.

The Central Energy Buying Company (CPPA) software states that 7.28 billion models of electrical energy have been bought in November.

The petition added that in November, 36.50 p.c of electrical energy was generated from hydro and 13 p.c from native coal, whereas 6.44 p.c of electrical energy was generated from imported coal in November.

Based on the CPPA software, 9.21% of electrical energy was generated from home fuel and 10.57% from imported LNG. In November, 20.83% of electrical energy was generated from nuclear sources.

The CPPA petition acknowledged that gasoline price per unit in November was Rs 9.44 paise per unit.

The applying acknowledged that the estimated price of electrical energy per unit in November was Rs 4 78 paise.
