The medical doctors of the burn unit of Nishtar Hospital in Multan resigned, accusing the unit of political interference.
Govt Director Dr. Naheed and Dr. Waseem Rabbani despatched their resignations to Vice Chancellor Nishtar College.
The medical doctors alleged political interference within the affairs of the burn unit and complained of their resignation {that a} retired senior registrar had been appointed as the chief director, all school resigning over political interference and arbitrary appointments.
However, Vice Chancellor Nishtar Hospital College Dr. Mehnaz Khakwani says that the resignations have reached me.
He additionally stated that the resignations of senior medical doctors haven’t been forwarded, the issues are being resolved.
