The Ministry of Privatization says that 2 necessary milestones have been achieved within the restructuring of the nationwide airline (PIA).
In line with an announcement by the Ministry of Privatization, shareholders and collectors of PIA permitted the scheme filed with the Securities and Alternate Fee of Pakistan (SECP).
In line with the announcement, the federal cupboard had permitted the demerger and restructuring of PIA as a part of the privatization course of.
A Scheme of Association was filed with the SECP on 28 March 2024, topic to the approval of PIA’s shareholders and collectors.
