Saudi Arabia welcomes ‘optimistic outcomes’ after peace talks with Houthis | Topurdu

Saudi Arabia on Wednesday welcomed the “optimistic outcomes” of the peace talks with a delegation from Sana’a, which is visiting the Kingdom to hold ahead the peace course of in Yemen.

In an announcement, the Overseas Ministry additionally praised a gathering of Saudi Protection Minister Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz with the Sana’a delegation.

The ministry mentioned that it “welcomes the optimistic outcomes of the intense discussions relating to reaching a roadmap to help the peace course of in Yemen.”

The peace talks had been held by the Saudi communication and coordination staff headed by Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, with the participation of a delegation of the Sultanate of Oman, with the Sana’a delegation, headed by Mohammed Abdulsalam Felitah.

The ministry identified that the discussions are “a continuation of the conferences the Saudi staff held in a earlier interval with the chairman and members of the Yemeni Presidential Management Council in Sana’a between April 8-13.”

Saudi Arabia on Sep. 14 invited a Houthi delegation for peace talks within the kingdom, in line with the Saudi Overseas Ministry.
