The Punjab Residence Division has imposed Part 144 in 10 districts forward of the April 21 by-elections. Based on the notification, Part 144 has been imposed to make sure regulation and order.
Based on the notification issued by the Residence Division, Part 144 will stay in drive for five days from April 18 to April 22 in ten cities of Punjab with by-elections.
Based on the notification, Part 144 has been imposed in Lahore, Kasur, Chakwal, Gujrat, Bhakkar, Wazirabad, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Rahim Yar Khan and Dera Ghazi Khan.
Throughout this time, there may even be a ban on carrying licensed weapons.
