Somali pirates launch Bangladeshi-flagged ship with 23 individuals on board after demanding $5 million in ransom

Somali pirates launched a seized Bangladesh-flagged cargo ship with 23 crew members after receiving a $5 million ransom.

5 million {dollars} ransom cash packed in three sacks was dropped from the airplane onto the cargo ship.

After being launched, the cargo ship MV Abdullah has left for its vacation spot beneath the supervision of two ships of the European Union.

Somali pirates have assured that they won’t assault the ship once more till it reaches Dubai port.

In March, a ship en route from Mozambique to the United Arab Emirates was hijacked by Somali pirates.

The CEO of the transport firm negotiated for the discharge of the cargo ship and crew.

He mentioned footage was supplied of all of the crew being protected and after the ransom was paid, about 65 pirates boarded 9 boats and left the ship on Sunday morning.
