Ram Gopal Varma, a widely known Indian filmmaker recognized for making underworld and crime movies, has introduced his entry into politics, saying that he might be a candidate for the Lok Sabha seat from Peethapuram constituency in Andhra Pradesh.
On Thursday, he made this sudden announcement on his social media app X (previously Twitter) saying that he’ll contest the Lok Sabha election from Andhra Pradesh within the upcoming election 2024.
On his sudden determination, he mentioned that he’s glad to be an election candidate from Pithapuram constituency. He didn’t share additional particulars.
His announcement got here after the Telugu Desam Social gathering, Bharatiya Janata Social gathering-Jana Sena alliance introduced that Tollywood actor and JSP chief Pawan Kalyan would contest from the Pithapuram seat.
