The Nationwide Accountability Bureau (NAB) approached the Islamabad Excessive Courtroom on the problem of the convicted individuals contesting the elections.
A request was made by NAB to droop the choice of single bench in Islamabad Excessive Courtroom.
The Nationwide Accountability Bureau says to revive the 10-year disqualification interval of NAB convicts from contesting elections, referring to the one bench choice of the Excessive Courtroom to permit NAB convicts to contest elections.
The stand taken by NAB was that in June, the one bench had diminished the NAB disqualification interval to five years as an alternative of 10, and filed an intra-court enchantment in opposition to the one bench’s choice.
