Chris Rock, who turned the goal of Will Smith’s wrath when he was slapped on stage throughout the Oscars 2022 occasion after making a joke about Smith’s spouse, sought counselling after the humiliating incident.
Throughout a current interview, Chris’ pal and fellow comic Leslie Jones shared her ideas in regards to the incident, saying it may have been dealt with in a greater approach.
In an interview with Individuals Journal, Leslie revealed, “Chris was affected by the incident as that sh*t was humiliating and was seen by his household, together with his daughters.”
She added, “He needed to go to counselling together with his daughter after the incident.”
Throughout Oscars 2022, Chris Rock carried out an accolade on stage and joked about Smith’s spouse, Jada Pinkett Smith, saying she appeared like G.I. Jane. The joke was associated to Pinkett’s shaved head, which was revealed to be associated to her hair loss as a consequence of alopecia.
The joke wasn’t taken nicely by the now 54-year-old actor, who went to the stage and slapped the comic.
The incident generated numerous buzz on the web, and Will was banned from attending any Oscar occasion for 10 years.
He later apologised for his actions, stating, “I used to be out of line and I used to be incorrect. I’m embarrassed.”
